A month to month rental agreement is exactly what it sounds like. A tenant can cause this to happen by not paying the rent or neglecting the property. This can also happen if the landlord just wants to move you out and move in a new tenant.
There are perks to a month to month rental agreement too. One of those perks is for renting a self storage unit. These types of leases do not come in anything but a month to month lease. This is done so that when a tenant needs to discontinue using the storage unit they can. There is no extra charge for stopping this kind of lease. Most times you will have to give the storage facility manager a written notice of evacuation just so that there is a record of it. This type of lease is beneficial to the tenant.
